Two strangers agree to total honesty on their first date. Something is watching. A dating app promises radical honesty. Leo brings a bonsai. Chloe brings a clipboard and a scoring system. Over one afternoon they work their way down through the levels of honesty, quirks, then flaws, then the things you don't say until the fourth date, if ever. Neither of them asks who's on the other end of the app. That comes later.
Everyone tells the truth. Someone gets paid.
Honest Dates is a dating app with one rule: tell the truth. Its users are strangers, hopeful, and trying. Its operators are two broke cynics in a dark room who have done the math — a couple that works is two cancelled subscriptions. Loneliness pays the bills.
