Une autre plume dans son chapeau représente l'union symbolique de deux artistes qui se sont réunis pour remettre en question les idées d'appropriation culturelle. Miss Chief Eagle Testickle, l'alter ego fluide et voyageur dans le temps de Kent Monkman, et le célèbre couturier français Jean Paul Gaultier ont échangé des vœux de respect et de compassion mutuels. Monkman et Gaultier cherchent à recontextualiser et à se réapproprier le faux couvre-chef, en jouant sur la figure de la femme autochtone sexualisée et stéréotypée telle que perçue par le regard colonial.

Another Feather In Her Bonnet represents the symbolic union of two artists who have come together to challenge ideas of cultural appropriation. Miss Chief Eagle Testickle , Kent Monkman’s shape-shifting, time-travelling, gender-fluid alter ego, and world renowned French couturier Jean Paul Gaultier exchanged vows of mutual respect and compassion. Monkman and Gaultier aim to re-contextualize and re-appropriate the faux headdress, playing on the figure of the sexualized and stereotyped Indigenous woman as perceived by the colonial gaze.
